President and CEO
As CEO of Eastern Federal Corporation, Ned Long deploys EFC capital into new investments in all asset classes, but particularly retail, and at all stages of development, including ground-up construction, value-add and acquisition of second-generation properties. He also manages a diverse portfolio of existing real estate assets in the Southeast and leading the redevelopment or repositioning of older assets.
Prior to joining EFC, Long was the executive vice president of real estate for four years, from 2010 to 2014, for Pacolet Milliken Enterprises, Inc., a private, family-owned investment company that dates back to the 1860’s. He led management of several million square feet of commercial space with properties in New York, Washington DC, Virginia, Georgia, the Carolinas and Florida.
Most recently, Long has been the chief financial officer for CampusWorks, LLC, a privately owned development, investment and construction company based in Charlotte that builds and invests in student housing throughout the Southeast and Southwest. Here, he led negotiations on joint-venture agreements, development and management agreements in 24 months. He also placed debt on a $22 million student housing project in Savannah, Ga. and a $55 million market apartment project in Charlotte, N.C.
Long holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Vanderbilt University. He has both private and public company and public accounting experience, including SEC reporting. He is working in EFC’s Charlotte office along with Debbie Craig, Chief Financial Officer and Josh Page, Vice President.
Joshua I. Page
Vice President, Asset Management
Josh Page brings a decade of commercial real estate experience to his role of managing Eastern Federal Corporation’s real estate assets.
Most recently, Page served FCA Partners as Senior Asset Manager where he was responsible for maximizing the value of office and retail assets contained in the FCA Partners portfolio throughout the Southeast and Texas. Prior to joining FCA Partners, he was the Commercial Asset Manager for Pacolet Milliken Enterprises, Inc., a Spartanburg, SC based private investment company focused on real estate and energy.
After joining privately-held textile and chemical firm Milliken & Company in 2003 as an Information Technology Professional, Page began his commercial real estate career in 2007 as a Market Analyst & GIS Specialist for Pacolet Milliken Enterprises. In 2010, Page became the Commercial Asset Manager for Pacolet Milliken’s entire operating commercial real estate portfolio which had grown to over 1.5M SF by 2013.
Page holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with Operations Management and Information Systems concentrations from North Carolina State University. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the International Council of Shopping Centers.
